Description

“Tea of the Six Fortresses” – among the experts highly valued (in our country rather neglected and underappreciated) the famous dark tea (hei cha 黑茶), which has very beneficial effects on the body and comes from the province of Guangxi.

Teas often referred to as Liu Bao can be found on the market, but from other provinces – they do not always have to be downright bad, but they cannot be compared to the real Liu Bao. Liu Bao has a very specific taste profile, which you will not appreciate immediately, but gradually during drinking.

Overall, the tea has a rather cooling effect, a very unique taste and aftertaste.

Da Hong Pao Ji Pin10g

Oolong teas, Cliff teas / Yan Cha, Tea
€18,06
Rare authentic tea from the main mother cliff with a truly exemplary leaf. A great gift for connoisseurs - a true 'King of Teas'. Processed according to traditional methods completely by hand, dried in a charcoal oven. Dry leaves are relatively small, the same size, greenish-black in color, the surface is shiny like charcoal. The infusion is clear, bright dark orange. The aroma of the drink is enchanting and its pervasiveness makes you feel as if you have already tasted the first cup. The taste is very deep and sweet. After several infusions, the tea leaves become larger, greener in colour, richly fluffy and silky to the touch. There are small but quite visible bumps on the leaves (as with most original yancha). After the fifth-sixth infusion, fruity and light orchid tones appear in the taste and aroma. The aftertaste is long, honey-floral.

Dong Ding Special

Tea, Oolong teas, Taiwanese (Formosa) Tea
€14,62
A higher grade of "Frozen Peak" with a more delicate floral flavour with an aroma full of fruity notes. An ideal tea for red tea lovers who have decided to get acquainted with oolongs. The traditional roastiness here is not as pronounced as in the basic class of this tea and instead more subtle herbaceous notes predominate. This tea is suitable for all-day drinking, ideal for gongfu preparation - when using a tea snifter, you can find wonderful floral and fruity notes in the tea.

Ya Shi Dao Hua Xiang

Tea, Oolong teas, Phoenix Dan Cong Tea
€21,50
An excellent phoenix with a traditional, but not very appealing name - "Smell of Duck Dung". The tea itself has one of the most amazing aromas that Dan Cong teas can offer - delicately roasted and rich at the same time. The taste is full, charming, smooth and very sweet with complex floral notes and a long lasting aftertaste.

Da Hong Pao

Oolong teas, Cliff teas / Yan Cha, Tea
€15,91
Da Hong Pao (Big Red Robe), one of the best rock teas  (yancha) directly from the cradle of all oolongs, the Wu Yi Shan mountains. On the numerous rocky cliffs of this area grow teas, which, thanks to the local climate and stony soil, acquire special features, which are later deepened by traditional processing. Due to its unique properties and taste, Da Hong Pao is often called the 'King of Teas'. The color of the leaves is dark brown, often with a coal sheen. The taste is initially very strongly roasted, but then balanced, the aroma is distinct, but still delicate and pleasant. The aftertaste is long and sweet.
