Description

Gong Ting 宫廷: Imperial Court or Courtyard, that is, the part of the palace where the emperor actually lived; in the context of shu pu’ercha, this indicates a high-quality tea made from the smallest leaf grade.

San Cha 散茶: loose, as opposed to compressed, tea, literally Scattered Tea (散茶), usually in the context of heicha; during the Tang Dai and Song Dai this was an alternate style of manufacture for tea that would still be ground to a powder before combining with hot water
