Our coffee plantation in Yunnan is about 150 kilometers away from the city of Pu’er. However, it takes almost 4 hours to get there. The road constantly rises and falls in the mountainous terrain through the Lancang River Valley to Cizhulin Village. Here, at an altitude of 1520 m, there are 2 plantations of the Pu’er Huangguan company with a total area of about 123 ha, where they grow the Catimor variety.
Huang Guan people have developed their own unique agricultural technology to grow seedlings, cultivate coffee trees and manage the farm. This is a typical rain forest coffee plantation pattern where the coffee trees are planted under the trees of the forest. In this way, it protects the ecosystem and realizes sustainable development.
