Our company was established in 2002 under the original brand name Teanet cn-cz.
ORIJIN stands for originality, oriental origin, as well as for eco-friendliness.
We deliver the widest range of high-quality teas directly from tea plantations and tea manufacturers in China to Czechia.
We own a teahouse combined with a retail tea and teaware store in the heart of Prague. Meanwhile, we run an online tea store and operate as a wholesale supplier for smaller teahouses in Czechia and abroad.
You can enjoy a cup of delicious tea in the authentic interiors designed by a Chinese architect, admire an exhibition of delicate tea porcelain from southern Chinese city of Jingdezhen, or purchase tea equippment for your home tea drinking. You can choose a tea sea, clay tea pots from Yixing used for gongfu tea ceremony, porcelain gaiwans as well as cups, teaware, travel tea sets and much more.
Our mission is to let the local customers enjoy high-quality teas from China, and also educate them in the area of Chinese tea culture, as an inseparable part of Chinese cultural heritage.
Since 20 years we have engage in sale of high-quality Chinese teas as well as introduction of unique and immensly rich Chinese tea tradition. We have achieved a remarkable position on Czech and Central European tea market and tea community.
Company´s founder and owner
ORIJIN TEA company was established by Mr Wei Jin, a Chinese tea master, born in Beijing. Mr Jin is a holder of National Licence of Chinese Tea Masters. After settling down in Prague, he founded the company, a tea club as well as Czech-Chinese Tea Association. Mr Jin is a respected professional in the tea circles. Every year during the Spring time he travels to famous tea regions of China in order to personally pick the best tea directly from the plantations and factories. Mr Jin regularly attends tea conferences, fairs and other events focused on tea and tea culture in Czechia and Central Europe.
